How AI Finds Value in Player Props
Sportsbooks set hundreds of player prop lines every day across multiple sports. Unlike moneyline and spread markets where sharp bettors keep lines efficient, prop markets are less optimized because the sheer volume makes it impossible to perfectly price every line.
Our AI projects individual stat lines by analyzing player usage rates, historical performance against specific opponent archetypes, minutes and snap projections, and game script predictions. When the model's projection diverges from the posted line by a statistically significant margin, that's a value prop.
For example, if the AI projects a quarterback for 290 passing yards but the sportsbook line is set at 260.5, the over has positive expected value. The model considers opponent pass defense ranking, game script (trailing teams pass more), weather, and recent performance trends to generate that 290 projection.
